Hit the Jackpot with 9 Free Things to Do in Las Vegas
Mirage Volcano and Rainforest
Of all the free stuff to do in Vegas, the spectacles at the Mirage take the cake. After dark, the Mirage lights up the night with a volcano show at regular intervals. There are drums, fire and fog and it’s a pretty great spectacle.
For something a little less in your face, go inside and check out the miniature rainforest behind the lobby. It’s better in the day, as they don’t light it up at night. Tropical plants and flowers and a small waterfall make a great backdrop for pictures.
Flamingo Habitat
If you have a love of birds you should make a point of visiting the Flamingo. The Habitat is not widely advertised, but flamingos and other birds call this beautiful outdoor space home.
It’s open all hours and it’s free. Wander the paths that include bridges, fountains and islands for birds, turtles and other animals.
If you're planning your next travel adventure, make sure you make a stop off at the dollar store before you leave to pick up these travel essentials!
Caesar’s Prayer Shrine
Maybe you’d like to get a little help from a higher power on your visit. Out front of Caesar’s behind Serendipity 3, you’ll find a small, but colorful, prayer shrine where you can send up a prayer to someone out there to give you a little bit of good luck.
Make a small donation for upkeep and light a stick of incense to send your prayer on its way.
If you know where to look, you can see Vegas in a totally different way. Adding this free stuff to do in Vegas to your trip can keep you out of the casinos a little more, help stretch your budget and allow you to do even more than you expected.
